Colin
Brine didn't learn about organizational excellence in a classroom.
The
lessons of customer service, competing in the marketplace
and fostering a work environment where employees act as a
team began for Colin in his family's hospitality business
when he was a young man.
A
former principal in the accounting firm Cordell, Neher and
Company and the co-founder and CEO of Upstream Northwest,
Colin has advised professional athletes, local, regional and
state business leaders and even international civic and political
leaders on organizational excellence and business leadership.
He is a graduate of the Disney Institute in Leadership Excellence,
a Rotary International "Paul Harris Fellow," a recent
member of the Board of Directors for the Washington Society
of CPAs and a Certified Upstream Academy Guide.
Colin
is also an avid mountain and road cyclist,
Nordic skier and yacht skipper - he holds a U.S. Coast Guard
Master's License and serves as a Professional Yacht Captain. |

D. Wheeler, CPA
Jon
Wheeler, author and teacher, accountant and business principal...and
co-founder and Chairman of Upstream Northwest, has been advising
organizations from Washington State to Montana on financial
and tax planning, business organization and valuation, mergers
and acquisitions for nearly 40 years.
No
stranger to entrepreneurial risk-taking, Jon started his accounting
career by starting his own practice in Glasgow, Montana in
1964. Since then, He's become a valued expert on corporate
mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations; estate planning
and business valuation. Jon has provided expert witness testimony
in civil cases on behalf of business clients, taught college
courses and authored books and articles on business value.
Jon
has served three terms on the Governing Council of the American
Institute of CPAs and terms as President and board member
for both the Washington Society of CPAs and the Montana Society
of CPAs. He's also a member of the Upstream
Academy, where he is a Certified Upstream Academy Guide.
Active
in his community, Jon serves on the Board of Directors of
the Leavenworth Summer Theater, Projekt Bayern and Mountain Meadows. He is also an avid golfer. |
